Warehouse Software Suite™: Order Manager™

Order Manager™ is part of the FKI Logistex Warehouse Software Suite™ (WSS), a full- featured, scalable warehouse control system (WCS). Order Manager is designed to fill gaps between business systems and material handling machine control to enhance operational execution and visibility. Flexible features for inventory and equipment management allow for the coordination of people, processes and product flow for increased productivity, order accuracy and on-time shipments.

Order Manager inventory management features can be used to augment existing host systems or provide services related to traditional inventory handling (receiving, putaway, order assignment, etc.). A combination of inventory, location and order management tools can be used to coordinate order fulfillment, replenishment, and shipping activity. Designed to scale for unique application needs, Order Manger can be implemented to strictly execute host directed activity or with the capability to manage processing and activity needed to adapt to new business needs.

Order Manager features can be scaled to enhance or manage multiple process such as put-away, replenishment, cycle counting and shipping. Work activity can be organized by Order Manger and then executed through the coordinated activity of additional Warehouse Software Suite products. Order Manager provides the overall process and synchronization management that enables real-time execution independent of time-sensitive ERP/WMS host interactions.

Order Manger is implemented with a set of core and add-on software modules. The core modules provide the foundation of basic functions, while the add-on software modules can be applied as needed. Standard features are available for the support of automated, paperless, paper and RF-directed activities; receiving, quality assurance, shipping and picking workstations; as well as web-based management tools for data visibility.
