|
The FKI Logistex UniSort IV is a belt powered pop-up wheel sortation conveyor that can achieve rates up to 130 cartons per minute.
The UniSort IV is modular in design and features powered divert wheels for maintaining positive and gentle handling of products. The sorter is integrated with high-speed belt conveyor, which provides a continuous carrying surface for accurate product tracking. The UniSort IV tubs are located at the divert points within the main-line sort belt conveyor. Sorting is accomplished by a control unit signaling air-actuated cylinders to raise the divert wheels, sorting product onto gravity or powered take-away spur conveyor.
The UniSort IV design allows true flexibility in the layout and design of a sortation system without limiting the number of diverts or overall length.
