V-Belt Powered Roller Merge / Diverge / Crossover

The FKI Logistex V-Belt Powered Roller Merge, Diverge, and Crossover conveyor is powered on each side with an endless V-Belt contacting the bottom side of the carrying rollers. Adjustable, flanged pressure sheaves (located between each carrying roller) guide the belt and ensure sufficient contact for movement of cartons. For independent line control, each infeed lane is individually driven with separate power units.
The V-Belt Powered Roller Merge allows two input lines to be combined into a single output line using a dual lane, extended width powered roller conveyor and a fixed bar deflector with a UHMW face or gravity skate wheels.
Using a dual lane, extended width, powered roller conveyor and a two-position motorized deflector, the V-Belt Powered Roller Diverge directs the flow of product from one input line to either of two take-away lines. Similarly, the V-Belt Powered Crossover directs product flow from two input lines to either of two take-away lines.

Rollers: 76 mm (3 in) centers, G196GH, galvanized, 48 mm (1.9 in) diameter, 16 gauge with grease sealed, non-removable bearings
Pressure Sheaves: 83 mm (3.25 in) diameter with sealed precision bearing, mounted on eccentric stud for adjustment
V-Belt: Endless “B" section; All components are guarded
Drive Unit: Side mounted, end-type, using a flange mounted reducer with 155 mm (6.1 in) diameter sheave located at infeed end of conveyor
Take-Up Unit: Manual-type, screw adjusted with tensioner, at discharge end of conveyor; All components are guarded
Power Units: Two .37, .56, & .75 kW (1/2, 3/4 & 1 HP) TEFC, C-faced, flange mounted, motor/reducer for speeds from .45 m/sec (93 to 372 ft/min)
Capacity: 74 kg/m (50 lbs/ft) live load
Deflector: Merge fixed; Diverge motor-operated two position; Crossover motor-operated three position
