Controlled Flow Conveyor (CFC)

The FKI Logistex Controlled Flow Conveyor (CFC) is a belt-driven live roller accumulation conveyor that provides the ability to accumulate a wide range of products with maximum accumulation density. Rollers are driven from underneath with the use of a flat belt drive. CFC is broken up into zones that are controlled with a photo-electric logic sensor. Snub rollers used to hold the belt into the drive or idle positions are activated with pneumatic pucks.

CFC offers three release modes, including sequential, train and high output sequential. Sequential release allows for product to be released one by one as the discharge end of the conveyor becomes cleared. Train release allows the entire line to be released at one time resulting in higher release rates as compared to sequential release. High output sequential allows several zones to release in pairs, resulting in a release rate between that of sequential and train.
