|
The FKI Logistex Brake/Meter Belt Conveyor provides controlled product release from an accumulation line and generates gaps between closely spaced products.
The conveyor consists of two belts that operate at different speeds. The "slow" speed of the first (upstream) belt serves to determine the line's throughput rate (case-m/sec / ft/min), while the "faster" speed of the second (downstream) belt generates a gap between two successive products.
Brake/Meter Belt Conveyors have options available that allow them to be configured to best meet an application's requirements. These options include carrier rollers with ABEC precision bearings and power units providing speeds up to 2 m/sec (400 ft/min).

Bed Section: 255 mm (10 in) deep X 5 mm (10 gauge) side rails; bolted crossmembers; 3 m (10 ft) (3 m) or 4.6 m (15 ft) optional lengths
Belt Drives and Take-Ups: Two (2) 8" (200 mm) dia., crowned and lagged drive pulleys, and 3-1/2” (90 mm) dia. crowned, take-up pulleys, manually adjusted
Power Units: .37 – 3.7 kW (.5 - 5 HP) C-face brake-motor/reducer with fixed speeds up to 2 m/sec (400 ft/min) (meter belt)
Idler Pulleys: 90 mm (3.5 in) diameter or 60 mm (2.25 in) diameter (optional) crowned pulley
Live Load Capacity: 150 kg/m (100 lbs/ft) maximum
