Conveyor Management System

The FKI Logistex Conveyor Management System (CMS) is a historical trending database that records real-time conveyor system operating data. This tool allows operations and maintenance personnel to better manage conveyor system operations. Operations supervisors can staff high volume areas while reducing staff in idle areas. Maintenance supervisors can monitor the system to develop operating trends, identifying areas that require additional maintenance because of high volume and reducing maintenance requirements in low-use areas.

The database can be used to store many types of data:
• System events such as starts, stops, emergency stops, jams and communication status
• Scan history of any given barcode is stored for quick product searches to determine where a carton has been, and where it is now
• Merge and sorter data such as divert counts, merge counts, and jam counts
• Event times such as merge release time and after-sort lane full time.
• All scanner activity such as barcodes not found, no-reads, bad data, bad format and scan time-out

Event Log
Each monitored system event is recorded with a time and date stamp in the Event Log. System events can be viewed in three forms:
• Event Log
• Report
• Bar Chart
