The FKI Logistex A/C Powered Roller Accumulation Conveyor provides positive transportation and controlled zero pressure accumulation of cases, totes, etc.
Simple, efficient chain-driven traction wheels (clutch assemblies) are pneumatically raised to engage and power the carrier rollers. They are lowered to disengage power from the rollers when sensors detect the presence of product within the next downstream zone.
Options include:
• Carrier rollers with ABEC precision bearings
• 75 mm (3 in) carrier roller centers
• Single and dual sensors
• Brake modules
• Standard and light-load sensors
• Power units providing speeds up to 1.2 m/sec (240 ft/min)
All sections are fully-assembled and are easily joined in the field to provide economical installation and start-up.

Width: A/C150 - 405 mm (16 in), 560 mm (22 in) & 710 mm (28 in) between frames; A/C200 - 405 mm (16 in), 560 mm (22 in), 710 mm (28 in) & 865 mm (34 in) between frames; A/C250 - 405 mm (16 in), 560 mm (22 in), 710 mm (28 in), 865 mm (34 in) & 1 m (40 in) between frames
Intermediate Section: Maximum Length – A/C150 – 3.7 m (12 ft) maximum, A/C200 - 3.7 m (12 ft) max, A/C250 – 3 m (10 ft) maximum; Zone length – A/C150 - 460 mm (1.5 ft), A/C200 – 610 mm (2 ft), A/C250 – 760 mm (2.5 ft); Frame – 140 mm (5.5 in) deep X 5 mm (10 gauge) side rails, bolted construction. Drive components - air-actuated, chain-driven (RC40) clutch assemblies mounted to the side frame rail and fully enclosed.
Drives: End-type 230 kg (500 lbs) effective chain pull capacity; Intermediate-type 385 kg (850 lbs) effective chain pull capacity with automatic chain-tensioner and filter/regulator/gauge; Underhung or side-mounted power unit; .37 kW – 3.7 kW (1/2 - 5 HP) C-face motor/reducer with fixed speeds up to 1.2 m/sec (240 ft/min).
Idler Section: End-type with two (2) zones, includes manual chain take-up.
Sensors: Pivoting roller with mechanically-actuated normally-closed, 3-way valve.
Operational Modes: Singulation, Auto-Slug & Slug.
Live Load Capacity: 150 kg/m (100 lbs/ft) maximum, minimum product weight will vary with the type of sensor specified and the width of the conveyor.
