|
Belt conveyors provide the basic function of transporting products along a straight path and are one of the most economical and efficient modes of transportation. The FKI Logistex belt conveyor line features a wide range of options which allow the product to be configured as best meets the unique application requirements for that conveyor.
The following standard belt conveyor components have been designed with attention to detail and to work with other associated components and adjoining gravity and/or powered conveyors.
• Drives with integral belt take-ups: End, Center
• Auxiliary take-ups: Manual, Spring, Pneumatic
• Frame styles: Channel, Pick, Pick with rollers set low
• Intermediate tread sections: Slider bed, Roller beds on 75 mm (3 in), 150 mm (6 in) or 230 mm (9 in) centers
• Intermediate tread section roller bearings: ABEC, Commercial, Patented FKI Logistex Cartridge Bearings
• Idlers: Standard pulleys, small-radius end pulleys
• Transitions between horizontal and incline or decline belts: Two pulley PTO device with the option to change speeds; Three pulley device which allows the same belt to be used for the horizontal and incline or decline; Upper bend units available in 5° to 30° angles
• PTOs to power a variety of up-stream or down-stream conveyors

Function: Transportation of product.
Conveyor/Belt Widths: 410 mm (16 in), 560 mm (22 in), 710 mm (28 in), 860 mm (34 in) and 1 m (40 in) between frame dimensions. Belts are 100 mm (4 in) narrower than conveyor width.
Intermediate Sections: 3.7 m (12 ft) or 3 m (10 ft) standard lengths. Other lengths are also available.
Frames: Channel/pick rail frames 160 mm (6.4 in) deep x 30 mm (1.25 in) flange x 3 mm (10 gauge); Pick rail frames with rollers set low 185 mm (7.25 in) deep x 30 mm (1.25 in) flange x 3 mm (10 gauge); Bolted cross members.
Roller/slider bed formed galvanized pans bolt to side rails.
Rollers: No.G196GH, No.G196AB (ABEC bearings) or FKI Logistex Cartridge Bearing Rollers
End Drive Sections: 110 kg (400 lbs) effective belt pull.
Center Drives: 408 kg (900 lbs) effective belt pull.
Idler Sections: Crowned, 90 mm (3.5 in) diameter pulley w/non-rotating shaft; 60 mm (2.4 in) diameter pulley; or 150 mm (6 in) diameter pulley with PTO sprocket.
Auxiliary Take-Up Sections: Manual, spring-loaded or pneumatic.
Belt/Lacing: Habasit TM120 FBS-B (standard - friction surface); Habasit TM120 RT-B (incline/decline standard - rough top); Habasit HSL-8E (brake meter belts); Habasit TM447 RT (heavy incline/decline >21°); Habasit TM529 FBS (side loading and diverting applications); clipper lacing (optional bias cut).
Power Units: From .37 kW (0.5 HP) to 5.6 kW (7.5 HP), TEFC, C-faced motor/reducer for speeds from 150 mm/sec (30 ft/min) to 2.5 m/sec (500 ft/min). All power drive components are guarded. All incline and decline conveyors are equipped with brake motors. Three voltage options: 415 VAC 3PH/50 HZ, 208-230/460 VAC 3PH/60HZ, 575 VAC 3PH/60HZ, 115/208-230 VAC 1PH/60HZ.
Power Feeders: Adjustable up to 30°, includes integral take-up; for incline, decline and reversible applications, speed ratios available from 1:1 through 1.92:1.
Three Pulley Device: Allows one continuous belt to be used for the feeder and the incline (or decline); maximum angle of 26°.
Upper Bends: Adjustable, 2-bend assembly; with adjustable 65 mm (2.5 in) rollers.
