The Answer System

The FKI Logistex Answer System is a Windows-based graphics and information package that allows real-time monitoring of your material handling system at a glance. Based on industry standard hardware and software, it is designed to communicate with the wide array of controls solutions from FKI Logistex, including the PC-based BOSS™ system as well as various types of PLCs.

Modular
The Answer System has been developed in a modular style that allows the system designer to create an application that is comprised of proven designs, yet is flexible enough to be tailored to the design of your material handling system. All components of your system - sorters, merges, accumulation conveyor - will be created from a standard toolbox of graphical systems. All electrical devices, colors, and labels are drawn to a set of standards that defines the unique look and feel of the Answer System. In addition, modules have been created to interface with marquees, displays, cameras, automatic paging, and audio messaging.

User Friendly
The Answer System is a windows-based package with the point-and-click functionality that is familiar to all PC users. Screens have been designed to enable quick locating of system problems by displaying status graphically, and troubleshooting by including text labels and information along with the graphics.
