Crane Manager™ is a highly configurable Microsoft Windows-based warehouse control application providing all of the services associated with automatic or man-aboard crane and mini-load applications. Operating on the latest Microsoft Windows operating systems and utilizing a Microsoft SQL Server Database, Crane Manager is the newest member of the FKI Logistex Warehouse Software Suite™ of products.
Crane Manager automatically identifies and stores containers into the AS/RS as they are delivered by the conveyor system. Crane Manager directs the retrieval of containers as requested by the "Host," which is the warehouse control system (WCS), warehouse management system (WMS), or FKI Logistex Order Manager™. The main purpose of Crane Manager is to optimize FKI Logistex crane technologies to optimally store and retrieve containers.
