FKI Logistex is the baggage handling market’s standard in claims carousel and make-up device technology. FKI Logistex, which developed the first unit for the industry in 1959, offers claims carousels in two varieties — the flat-plate Transitread® and the sloped-plate MaxiClaim®. Both offer the utmost in carrying capacity, availability, safety and ease of maintenance and support.

Designed for smooth, quiet operation, both the Transitread and the MaxiClaim feature proven designs offering layout flexibility, reliability and exceptional appearance. Transitread, the most widely used baggage claim and make-up device in the world, can be configured in virtually any shape to serve any airport’s specific needs.

The MaxiClaim heavy-duty sloped plate sorting and claim conveyor system efficiently operates under the extreme demands of high passenger density requirements. It can be customized to suit a broad variety of applications and enlarged to meet growth demands. Because of MaxiClaim’s smaller footprint, it is particularly suited to airport terminals where space limitations affect design considerations, as it allows more bags per foot of floor space.

FKI Logistex baggage claim carousels are available in stainless steel for public areas. With dual-drive setups for emergency backup, FKI Logistex baggage claim and make-up solutions can be standalone devices or integrated into a complete baggage handling system.
